Emails Autron sends, and how to turn them off
Every email Autron can send you, including ones you didn't set up yourself — the weekly summary, routine reports, the Monthly Business Review and onboarding emails — and how to unsubscribe from or turn off each one.
TL;DR: Turn off the weekly summary in Settings › Notifications, one switch per marketplace. Routine reports, including the Monthly Business Review, are stopped on the routine: its owner can pause it or change its recipients. Onboarding emails have a Stop these nudges link at the bottom. Sign-in links, invitations and replies to your own emails can't be turned off.
Most of what Autron emails you is one of three kinds: a weekly summary of your ad engine, reports from routines, and a few onboarding emails while you get started. Each is turned off in a different place.
The weekly summary
Where you've stepped in arrives on Mondays if the ad engine runs your campaigns. It lists your exceptions that went back to Autron that week and the ones that end in the next seven days. A quiet week sends nothing. You get one email per marketplace, and it goes to everyone in your company.
Reply to it and your agent answers. Open Goals → takes you to what ends this week.
To turn it off: open Settings › Notifications. Under Weekly summary, each seller lists its marketplaces with a switch each. The button next to a seller shows All on, All off or Some on. When it reads All on, clicking it switches all that seller's marketplaces off; when it reads All off or Some on, clicking it switches them all on. These are your own settings, so each teammate turns it off for themselves, signed in with the address it arrives at.
Routine reports
A routine with an Email digest channel emails its report after a run. The recipients start as everyone in the company when the routine is created, so a teammate's routine can email you too. A run that fails or times out is reported as well, so you hear when a routine breaks.
To turn it off, open the routine from Routines and:
- switch it from Active to Paused to stop it running at all;
- remove an address from the Email digest recipients, or remove the channel, and click Save;
- or choose Only when it matters, so it emails only when a run flags something new.
Only a routine's owner can change it. A teammate's routine is under Routines › Team with its author; ask them to take your address off. Every routine email links to the routine's settings at the bottom.
The Monthly Business Review
Autron installs the Monthly Business Review for each Amazon account connected on the Agent or Pro plan. On the 2nd of each month it emails a review of the month before to everyone who was in your company when it was installed; people who join later are not added. It is a routine like any other: pause it or change its recipients as above. See Playbooks.
Onboarding and check-in emails
While you get started, Autron sends a few short emails: if your Amazon Ads account isn't connected yet, after your audit arrives, after your first chats, and after you start the ad engine. They stop once you have done what they suggest, and you get at most one a day. Most come from your agent's own address, and replying to those reaches your agent.
To unsubscribe: use your mail app's own Unsubscribe button, next to the sender's name, which works in one click. Or click Stop these nudges (on some, Unsubscribe) at the bottom of the email; a page asks Stop these emails?, and you click Unsubscribe. This stops onboarding and check-in emails only — your audit, routine reports and Monthly Business Review still arrive.
Slack and WhatsApp
- Slack. Routines post to the Slack channels added to them. Remove the Slack channel from the routine, or disconnect Slack in Settings › Integrations to stop every routine's Slack posts. See Connecting Slack.
- WhatsApp. Routine reports go to your linked number, and replies in a chat you started on WhatsApp reach your phone too. Remove WhatsApp from the routine, or disconnect WhatsApp in Settings › Integrations. See WhatsApp.
Emails you can't turn off
These arrive only when you, or a teammate, do something: sign-in links and password resets, invitations to join a team, a request to add a card to an account, your agent's replies when you email it, approval requests, a test email you asked for, your audit report, and replies from the Autron team when you ask for help.
If an email from Autron isn't covered here, see Get help.
