The Action log: changes you made through the agent

The Action log lists the Amazon Ads changes you made through the agent: what each row and status means, the filters and details, Keep and Hand back, how to undo, and why the ad engine's work is not in it.

TL;DR: The Action log at agent.autron.ai/action-log lists the Amazon Ads changes you made through the agent: in the app, by email or Slack, in your routines, or from Claude or ChatGPT. A teammate's changes appear in their log, not yours. The ad engine's own optimisation is not logged here; it shows on Goals and in the engine report on Today. There is no undo button: ask the agent to change it back.

The Action log is the record of the changes the agent sent to Amazon Ads for you: each campaign it created, bid it set, target it added or campaign it archived, with when it ran, where, and whether Amazon accepted it. Open Action log in the sidebar, or go to agent.autron.ai/action-log.

Whose changes it shows

Yours. A change you asked for lands here wherever you asked: in the app, by email or Slack, in a routine you own, or from Claude or ChatGPT. A teammate's changes appear in their own Action log, not yours. To see everything changed through the agent on a workspace, ask it ("what did my team change this week?"). It can read every teammate's changes and says who made each one.

The ad engine's own optimisation is not in the Action log. See Where's what the engine changed? below.

The table

It opens on the last 7 days of the workspace you are in, 25 rows to a page. Rows per page changes that to 10, 50 or 100.

Columns adds Profile, Latency and Error, which are hidden at first. One row is one request: approve a batch of 200 bid changes and it is one row, with every item's result inside.

Statuses

  • Success: Amazon accepted every item.
  • Partial: some items went through and Amazon rejected others. The details say which, and why.
  • Failed: nothing went through. The details show Amazon's error.
  • Pending: still in flight. Refresh in a moment.

When one campaign in a batch fails partway, for example the campaign is made but Amazon refuses its ad group, Autron archives what it built for that campaign so nothing half-made is left running. The rest of the batch stays live. That row reads Partial, or Failed if nothing was left, and its details list what was archived.

Filters

  • Date range: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or a custom range with start and end times.
  • All tools: one or more kinds of change.
  • All statuses: set it to Failed and Partial to see only what Amazon refused.
  • All sellers and All marketplaces appear when you have more than one.

Reset puts them back to the defaults.

The details

Open a row from its name in the Tool column, or from ⋮ → View details. The panel shows the seller, marketplace, Ads profile and timing, the exact Request sent, Amazon's Response, and any Error.

When the change is an exception, meaning Autron is standing back from it, an In place line says for how long: kept, or until a date. Keep makes it kept until you say otherwise, and Hand back ends it now. Keep is not offered on a ceiling, which always ends, or on a change that is already kept. The buttons appear only while you are in the workspace the change was made in. Once it is no longer an exception, the line reads Ended.

What is recorded

  • Creating Sponsored Products, Sponsored Display and Sponsored Brands video campaigns.
  • Registering a video for a Sponsored Brands video ad.
  • Pausing, enabling, renaming or re-budgeting a campaign, or moving it to a portfolio.
  • Placement bid adjustments and target bids.
  • Adding keywords, product targets, negatives and product ads.
  • Archiving campaigns and targets.
  • Keep or hand back exceptions: every Keep, Hand back, hands-off and ceiling, whether you asked the agent or pressed the button on Goals or here.

Not recorded: anything the agent only looks up, goal changes (targets, product switches, starting or stopping the engine), product costs, and the ad engine's own changes.

Can I undo something?

There is no undo button. Ask the agent to change it back: "set the garlic press bids back to $0.85". The log records what each change set, not what was there before, so the agent checks the current value on Amazon and asks you what to go back to. The reversal is a new change, approved like any other, with its own row.

If the change is still an exception and you no longer want it kept, press Hand back in its details, or on the product's page in Goals.

Where's what the engine changed?

The ad engine optimises continuously without writing to the Action log, so a short log does not mean nothing changed. Its work shows on Goals and in the engine report row on Today: bids optimized and keywords, targets and campaigns added over the last 30 days. For detail, ask the agent: "what has the engine changed on my garlic press this week?" It reads the engine's own record of what it sent to Amazon.
