Ask the agent for a campaign and every target starts at the bid Amazon recommends for it, with the range shown, instead of a flat default. Name a bid yourself and it uses that instead.
Until now a new campaign opened every target at one default bid, and the first days went to finding the right level. The agent now asks Amazon for its bid recommendation per target as it builds the campaign, shows you the suggested range, and opens there. If you give a bid in your ask, yours wins.
