MCP server

## Every tool, and what it changes.

42 tools: 24 read your Amazon account and 18 change it. Reading works on every plan; changes need the Agent plan, and the 14 that can spend money or can’t be undone should be confirmed every time.

Server URL

Paste it into any assistant that takes a remote MCP server. You’ll sign in with your Autron account.

[How to connect](https://autron.ai/mcp)

Connecting

### How a client signs in

Transport

Streamable HTTP at the server URL above.

Sign-in

OAuth authorization code flow with PKCE (S256 only) and dynamic client registration; clients are public and need no secret. Metadata at [/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server](https://agent.autron.ai/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server).

Scopes

`mcp:read` for the read tools, on every plan. `mcp:tools` adds the tools that change an account, on the Agent plan. Anyone can choose read-only when they sign in.

Tokens

Access tokens last 90 days, refresh tokens a year and rotate on use. Revoke a connection any time in Settings › AI assistants.

Seller

Tools work on the connection’s active seller. Every read tool also takes an optional `seller_id` (from `list_sellers`) to run that one call against another seller the user can see.

### Changes, errors and limits

#### How changes behave

- A change runs once, when it is called. Goals and seeds are the exception: Autron’s ad engine acts on them in its next run.
- A batch reports each item’s success or failure, and one failure doesn’t stop the rest.
- Every change to Amazon Ads made through these tools is recorded in the action log with its status: pending, success, partial, failed or rolled back. Read it with `query_action_log`.
- An identical call made while the first is still pending is refused with `duplicate_request`. After a timeout, check the action log before trying again.
- Archiving is permanent on Amazon. To stop a campaign or target for now, pause it or lower its bid.
- Every tool carries MCP’s `readOnlyHint` and `destructiveHint`, so an assistant can ask before each change. Sensitive writes should be confirmed every time.

#### Errors

A refused call answers in the tool result, as `{ "ok": false, "error", "message" }`. The message is written to be shown to the person.

- `scope_required` — The connection is read-only. Reconnect and allow changes to use this tool.
- `plan_required` — Changing an account needs the Agent plan.
- `credits_exhausted` — The account has no credits left until its daily allowance refills or more are added.
- `seller_not_found`, `seller_unresolvable` — The seller\_id doesn’t match a seller this user can see. Call list\_sellers.
- `missing_context` — No Amazon Ads account is connected for this seller.
- `invalid_input` — An input failed validation; the message names it.
- `product_not_found`, `marketplace_not_found` — A product or marketplace named in the call isn’t on this seller’s account. Look it up again with list\_products or list\_sellers.
- `duplicate_request` — The same call is still in progress.
- `amazon_api_error`, `auth_error` — Amazon refused the request, or the Amazon connection needs reconnecting in Autron.
- `no_seller_db` — Analytics for this seller aren’t ready yet; the metrics tools still work.
- HTTP 401 — the token expired or was revoked; sign in again.

#### Limits

- Each call costs one Autron credit, reads included; a refused call costs nothing. The Free plan gets 5 credits a day, up to 30 held.
- A result is capped at 50,000 characters; long lists come in pages.
- `query_analytics` returns up to 1,000 rows, or up to 50,000 as a CSV link that works for 30 days.
- Batch sizes are on each tool above.
