# Autron plans: Free, Agent and Pro One product, three rungs — what each plan includes, what it costs, and how the agent and the ad engine work together. You start free, pay for more of the agent when you want it, and move to Pro when you would rather the engine ran your ads than do it yourself. The plan you are on and what it costs you do not change because the published pricing has — only your included credit allowance follows your own plan. ## Free A real account, not a trial — it does not expire and there is no card to enter. You get 5 credits a day, holding up to 30, and a quick lookup in the app's chat does not spend any. Asking from Claude or ChatGPT does use credits, each time Autron fetches data for them. That is enough to ask about your performance, read your free audit, find search-term waste and keyword gaps, check profitability, launch a campaign, and [connect Autron to Claude or ChatGPT](https://autron.ai/mcp) to ask from there. ## Agent The same agent with room to work, plus the things that only make sense once you are using it daily: - **Routines** — save an instruction and let it run unattended on a schedule, with results by email, Slack, WhatsApp or webhook. Reply to the email and the agent answers. - **Playbooks** — proven plays installed in one click. - **Skills** — write your house rules once and include them in any message. - **Automated review requests**, on your own delay. - **Acting from Claude and ChatGPT**, not only asking. - **Your choice of model** from several AI providers, Claude, GPT and Gemini among them. The free plan runs on one fixed model. ## Pro Everything above, plus the **ad engine**: continuous bidding, placement tuning, keyword and ASIN expansion, negative-keyword management and campaign building, running against a target you set — every day, without you. Pro includes the agent with 500 credits a month, so it is an addition rather than a switch. See [Start the ad engine](https://autron.ai/help/start-the-ad-engine). ## When both are working on the same account They coordinate, so a change you make through the agent is not quietly undone by the engine on its next pass. The goal is the rule for a product, and a change you make through the agent is an **exception** to it: Autron stands back from that one thing. A pause or a negative stays until you hand it back; most other changes stand for seven days, then end. See [Exceptions](https://autron.ai/help/exceptions). In practice the two are good at different things. Let the engine own the bidding loop, and use the agent for what sits outside it — analysis, negatives, new structures, one-off experiments — and for the deliberate exceptions you want to keep. ## Common questions **Is there a free trial?** Not a timed one. The free plan has no end date, so you can use Autron for as long as you like before paying. Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable, so take as long as you need on the free plan before upgrading. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; the cancel dialog tells you whether the plan ends now, with a prorated credit for the unused time, or at the end of the period you have paid for. ​ **Do I have to choose between Agent and Pro?** No — Pro includes the agent. Choosing Pro is choosing to add the engine, not to swap one product for another. ​ **Can the agent do everything the engine does?** No. It can create and update campaigns, manage targets, adjust bids and placements when you ask — but it does not run a continuous optimisation loop. ​ **Can I move down as well as up?** Yes. Stopping the engine on Goals takes effect at once.
